After the Orientation Programme they are to report to the respective Departments for preliminary introduction.

The classes of 1st year B.A./B.Sc. will commence on 13th July 2017 at 10.30 a.m.

The name of the students who fail to attend at least 80% classes during the first 10 days will be struck off from the college register without further notice.

Sesquicentennial Birth Anniversary celebrations and Inter-college Competition

The inauguration of the year long Sesquicentennial Birth Anniversary celebrations of Sister Nivedita will be held on December 15, 2016. The inaugural address will be delivered by Swami Purnatmanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda's Ancestral House and Cultural Centre. Professor Basab Chaudhuri, Vice Chancellor, West Bengal State University will grace the occasion as Chief Guest.The key note address will be delivered by Professor Somnath Bhattacharya, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Jadavpur University. Classes for 3rd Year B.A./B.Sc for the Session 2016-17 of Humanities/Non Lab based subjects and those Lab based Science subjects of which B.A/B.Sc Part II Examination (including Theory and Practical) has ended, will commence on and from July 12, 2016 at 10.30 a.m.
For the remaining Lab based subjects, classes will start immediately the day after the completion of B.A./B.Sc Part II (Theory and Practical) Examination.
