  • Interested in Taxonomy of Leaf Inhabiting Fungi, Biopesticides, Biological Control, Aeromycoflora. Completed two research projects funded by U.G.C. Total number of publications 45, published in several National and International journals.Supervised PG dissertations in Darjeeling Govt. College, Presidency College, Barasat Govt. College and Bethune College. Produced two Ph.D students under university of Calcutta.

  • Act as a Resource person in an webinar "The World of Plants: Its impact on indigenous people, society and biosphere" and delivered an invited lecture on "Current trends in plant disease management" organized by Department of Botany, Govt. General Degree College, Mohanpur, Paschim Mediniour, held on 18th & 19th November, 2020
  • Act as a Resource person in an Web lecture series on Theoretical Botany for undergraduate organized by Department of Botany, Sarojini Naidu College for women, Kolkata (19th-20th October, 2020).
