Research Interests
- My research interest lies in synthesis of new inorganic and organometallic complexes using novel organic ligands and studying subsequent reactivity of these complex molecules including their catalytic activity.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Undergraduate course in Chemistry as per University of Calcutta Syllabus (CBCS and NEP)
- Topics taught at the UG level: Extranuclear part of atom, Periodic table, Bonding (Molecular orbital theory, other bonding like H-bonding, supramolecular interaction etc.), Group 18 chemistry, Bio-inorganic chemistry, Reaction kinetics and mechanism, Coordination chemistry - spectra, Battery, Explosives, Metallurgy and alloys.
- Supervision of UG dissertation in the field of Inorganic Chemistry
